Digital Life Moves January Programs to February

Port Ludlow DigitalLife (PLDL) canceled January meetings due to the rise in Covid cases. As the Voice went to press, PLDL was tentatively planning to roll the scheduled January offerings into February. If pandemic conditions allow, upcoming PLDL meetings at the Bay Club will be as follows:

Windows 10 – Monday, February 21, 3 to 5 p.m.

The All Things Digital group will meet with John Nuerenberg to discuss Windows 10 features and benefits. Windows 10 has been around for several years and you may think you are ready for the next operating system. Here is a question to consider: If you learned more about your existing operating system, could you make it more enjoyable to use? This class may better prepare you for Windows 11 if you choose to upgrade.

In this class, you will learn how to modify the Start menu and Task Bar; lock and unlock the computer; change mouse settings; change power and sleep options; create and nest folders in Windows Explorer; clean your hard drive; and choose the right options in the Settings window. Be sure to bring your computer with necessary power supply.

Photo Editing – Monday, February 28, 10 a.m. to noon.

The Camera Special Interest Group will have an overview of photo editing options. It will be led by Aven Anderson. Bring your camera and any questions you have regarding photog- raphy, design, or photo equipment.
